French door curtains – A small touch to create a big effect

Unless you have stained glass in your doors, a small touch that can create a stunning effect is French door window treatments.  You can choose from a number of different types of window treatments and each will help you create the look and feel you want in the room.  French door curtains can create a casual or formal look depending on the material used.

French door panel curtains are always a favorite.  Panel curtains are effective at controlling light as well as giving you the right amount of privacy.  When properly installed, these curtains stay in place and won't get caught up in the door handle.  Because they are attached securely at the top and bottom, they won't blow in a breeze or get slammed in the door.

If French door curtains are not for you, you can choose from honeycomb shades, mini blinds or vinyl blinds.  Again, ensure they are properly secured at the bottom so they won't clash against the glass of the door every time it is opened and closed.  Honeycomb shades can be opened at the top, bottom or both.  This is a great feature and is often a popular choice.
