For a stunning look consider window drapes, curtains & curtain rods

 Window blind, shades are shutters are often installed for functional reasons such as controlling the amount of sunlight entering a room or providing additional privacy.  If you are after a stunning look, consider window curtains or drapes.  Adding decorative curtain rods is also a nice touch and can really pull the look and feel you are after together.  The great thing about window curtains and drapes is that you options are virtually endless.  You can choose from a huge selection of fabric that will enhance your room.  You can get them custom made by a professional or you can choose to make them yourself.  This will depend on your budget and capability of course.

With window curtains and drapes, you can coordinate your entire home including bedding, furniture, décor and more.  You can choose fabric with a contemporary look, more traditional styles such as florals, or you can go with neutral solids or stripes.  This is what makes them so versatile when decorating your home.  Now if you decide to go with window blinds or shades, you can still add a decorative valence to your window.  Often blinds and shades are solid colors so a matching valence can also help add some color and spice to the room.
